How to perform it
- 1Anchor a band overhead and hold one end with your working arm, then take a step away to create tension as you pull the arm down into a lat stretch position. Add axial rotations by rotating your torso away from the anchor point while keeping the arm anchored overhead, targeting the lat and thoracic rotation simultaneously. Breathe into the stretch on each inhalation and rotate further on the exhale to progressively earn more range. Avoid shrugging the working shoulder or rotating through the lower back — feel the lat lengthening and the thoracic spine rotating with the arm anchored overhead.
