How to perform it
- 1Kneel facing a wall with your hands placed on the wall at shoulder height, then use a band anchored at mid-torso level to assist or resist thoracic rotation as you rotate your spine to open toward the ceiling. Move through a full t-spine rotation with each rep, holding the end-range position for 2-3 seconds to earn more range through the band-assisted mobilization. Breathe in as you set and exhale as you rotate, allowing the ribcage to open fully with each rep. Avoid rotating through the lumbar spine or letting the hips shift — feel the thoracic vertebrae rotating with the band guiding the quality of movement.
