How to perform it

  1. 1Place an Acumobility ball or firm ball under the targeted muscle group — subclavius, pec minor, sternocleidomastoid, or scalenes — and use your bodyweight to apply targeted pressure to the specific soft tissue structure. Hold on any tender areas for 5-10 seconds, breathing deeply to encourage release, then slowly move through any available range of motion to add a contract-relax element. Work methodically through each muscle, spending 30-60 seconds per site. Avoid pressing directly on bony landmarks or blood vessels — feel the specific muscle release and a sense of reduced tightness in the neck and anterior chest as you work each spot.
